The other night we replicated the grilled, flatbread BBQ
chicken pizzas we made at cooking night on girls trip. Yum. We deviated a little bit (I usually do) to go with what I
had on hand, but it was a great way to use leftovers. Here’s the easy-peasy scoop. You gotta try it – thanks for the idea Steph!
PS, she said that they tried pepperoni and it wasn’t that
good, but the kids liked cheese-only.
PPS, on GT, we didn’t use mozzarella, just parmesan, we
added thinly sliced red onion (awesome) and we used rotisserie chicken instead
of leftover like I used here, but either way, it worked great.
PPPS, I totally want to try a margherita pizza this way –
tomato, basil and mozzarella – once my basil plants are big enough (I grew them
from seed this year).
We found these in our dairy section. Steph found hers - same brand - in the freezer section in her state (no idea why) |
It's browned in spots but not everywhere, cheese is all melted. You can see how it's crispy and standing up from the plate. |
