Babies!  Babies!  Babies!  And that means showers!  Showers!  Showers!
I recently went to a shower for my dear friend Andrea, and let’s just say that this shower was WOM-WORTHY!  IT WAS A HOOT!
Beautiful!  That's Andrea in the middle, Danielle on the left, and Katie on the right
Sweet Andrea, who happens to be a teacher (she is also a speech coach:  I LOVE SPEECH) and soon-to-be mom to a littler girl who could be born ANY DAY NOW, was the honored guest.  Crafty Katie (who threw the home-made shopping bag party) and Danielle (WHO IS WAY CRAFTY) threw this shindig!
Everything screamed pink and brown.  The overall theme was owls!
Could these cupcakes be any cuter?  I especially love the mini cupcakes
Fun Fact:  Ethne LOVES anything mini
I will let the photos do the talking (Katie took these photos and as you can see she is a fantastic photographer).  Don’t drool on your keyboard!  But use these photos as major inspiration!  ANYONE CAN DO IT!
The bookshelves displayed baby photos of the future mom and dad
as well as books to add to their library (each guest was asked to bring a book for the new baby)
Ethne and I love PRINCESSES!
The table was magnificent!  I love how they used wooden blocks and
clothes pins to act as labels for the table.
Check it out:  italian sodas, bindy straws, and cupcakes made out of baby washclothes!
No detail was missed!
And even better—I have been told that Danielle and Katie are typing up a guest post for WOM-MOM on how to make those beautiful pom-poms, and Ethne and I can’t wait!  Be on the look-out for this crafty and affordable project coming soon!
PS:  Andrea (if you happen to read this post) keep us updated on baby!  We (including Mur-Man) can't wait to meet her!
