WINTER WINDOW CLEAN!

Posted by Lori~

As you know, we have a 1930’s bungalow house and gradually we are replacing the 1930’s windows.  But in the meantime, we need to keep the windows clean.

We have owned our house for just over 3.5 years and have yet to figure out how to actually clean the exterior windows….that is until now!  That’s right…Sunday/Monday it was over 40 degrees in my Little City, ND town.  Steve and I couldn’t look at the filth anymore!

Mur-Man enjoying the view (notice: NO DIAPER!)
Mission:  Window clean!  Steve took out the drill, took out the screws, and pulled off the exterior windows (AKA storm windows).  And I went to town cleaning them (inside and out).  It was a process, but we have decided we will clean one window/day (as long as the weather holds).  And it didn’t hold…WINTER CONDITIONS TODAY.

FILTHY! (PRE-CLEANING!)
Steve is removing the storm window with the drill!
Spotless!
However our view is fantastic, our windows are clean, and we are ready to continue the window cleaning process.

Oh window cleaning. My least favorite house cleaning job by far. Want to come do my house too? :)
p.s. I tagged you in a survey game!
