We have been battling the flu bug all weekend at our house. Lots of puke and you know what!!!!
I actually whipped up this hot dish awhile ago and initially saw the recipe on my sister's FB page. LISA--GET PINTEREST! TRUST ME!
I love perogies (and happened to have some store-bought perogies in my freezer). I have a girlfriend from Canada, and where she is from they make perogies by the freezer full! I would love that.
The recipe turned out delish--Steve said, "I can make it again!"
Supplies needed:
16 to 20 frozen perogies
1/2 onion
1/2 green pepper
1/2 cup cooked ham (I didn't have ham, but ended up using bacon, which I diced and cooked ahead of time)
1/4 cup milk
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese (I only had swiss, but it worked great too)
Steps:
Combine perogies, onion, green pepper, and ham. I used bacon, which I fried ahead of time.
Mix milk and soup in a separate dish.
Pour over casserole and top with cheese.
Bake for 35 minutes at 350 degrees.
ENJOY! I don't know about you, but I LOVE a good casserole (or hot dish)!
